MG Gundam Zeta

Postby JonintheRedZ28 » Thu Aug 22, 2013 12:57 am

Here, Sal, I finally started working on it. While drunk and watching Gundam Seed. Haven't done much but the head pieces had been sitting in my warhammer box for months waiting for me to paint the eyes and such.
Edit: mixing whiskey and exacto knives didn't turn out well for my knuckle. I shaved a nice flap of skin off. Lucky me that it's surface damage and I didn't cut deep, just shaved a chunk off.

Did some more of the sub assemblies today before I left for work. I might work on it more tonight if Rebekah and I don't get dinner after her last class like we did on Tuesday

My mentor that taught me jewelry making still swears that if you don't bleed for or better ON a weel done prject at least once in it's creation you are not doing it right....

It definitely got blood on it lol. I took a break to replace the brake rotor on my car today (which nixed dinner plans with the lady, unfortunately), then I assembled the arms together. I'm going to get all the major assemblies together and then work on details. I know Ken was squawking at me to do more details. XD

Finished the assemblies and moved on to paint. I don't have good paints or particularly good talent but it's coming out ok to me.

Same on the arms. I'm not really going for canonical Zeta, apparently

Got some more done. Basically done with the body for now. It's not exactly fantastic but I like it.
There's certainly more that can be done, I just got sucked into going outside with the dog. :-D
