A formal announcement of a new company

Postby lakespeed » Tue Jul 14, 2009 9:35 pm

Please Erin, I beg forgiveness in advance for pushing Trek like I was slinging dope......

Hello everyone,

I've decided to start my own little resin company called unofficially "The Delta Quadrant". I hope to specialize in making 1/2500 Star Trek ships that no one has yet touched but many have asked for.

I've commisioned my first master from Alfred Wong, which can be seen here:

http://alfredsmind.ca/commissions/samples107.html

My first release will be a 1/2500 Cardassion Galor with the conversion parts for a Keldon included. Decals (including windows) will also be provided.

This will be a limited run (being my first kit and all) and the tenative price is going to be $35.

I hope to have this kit in stock by early next month so please stay tuned. Kits will be available through me and I can be contacted through e-Mail or PM's.

That is all.

I like the Galor and adding the extra parts to make a Keldon is a nice tough.

Good Luck to your sir.

Thanks guys.

Thought this might be a fun little advernure for me. Even with the economy in the crapper I'm still hoping sales are good. :D

If you produce a good product of a unique and popular subject - people will spend the money but don't get greedy.... Don't expect to give up your day job but you might make enough to supplement your hobby or fund the next project.

Sell on SSM but make sure you hold a few back for direct sales. eBay is quick and easy, they nickle and dime you but it is still the best way to reach the masses of the world and double your profit per piece.

Wow...am I am Mad Klingon or a Fiendish Ferengi?
